This is a Glasspar 16 ft outboard boat hull that I found on its way to the dump. It was a mess, but looked easy to work on. They stopped making this boat about 1968.  It is considered one of the best hull designs ever made because it gets up and planes so easy. There is talk of a revival of this boat design.  It is a two part fiberglass molded hull. The two halves were clamped together but I removed the clamps and fiberglassed the top and bottom together.  My 70 HP Evenrude engine pushes it at 35 MPH.  The latest addition is the splash guard over the window so I don't get water in my face anymore.  You can see one of my former products, the Sea-TV underwater video system, that is a drop down camera on coax cable.  It will go a 1000 ft down.  Max towing depth is 200 ft.  It is like diving all day without getting wet.  I take this boat out as far as 20 miles in the ocean while fishing here in San Diego.
